This 10-year warranty applies to VITL Quartz surfaces that have been installed in an interior, commercial use application. VITL warrants for a period of 10 years that VITL will be free from manufacturing defects from the date of the completion of the installation of VITL Quartz. Warranty must be registered within 30 days of installation.

This is a product warranty only. VITL’s obligation under the 10-year warranty covers exclusively the substitution of the slabs of VITL Quartz outcome in its slab form. In any way this warranty does not cover labor to remove, fabricate and/or re-install VITL Quartz products, or any other tasks required to complete the replacement or removal of the defective material.

VITL defines commercial property as any location or establishment open to the public with business purposes, properties for rental or lease or properties named as hotels, motels or other temporary residence applications.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• This warranty is issued on behalf of the original owner of the commercial property who purchased and installed VITL Quartz countertop. This document is invalid upon transfer of ownership of the property to subsequent parties, under no circumstances. This certificate is non-transferable and does not cover claims made by subsequent owners of the commercial properties.
• This warranty applies exclusively to VITL Quartz material which has been permanently installed in an interior, commercial application and has not been displaced from the original installation area(s).
• This warranty covers VITL Quartz surfaces that have been installed by a VITL Quartz network of authorized fabricators and installers. It does not cover surfaces that were installed with improper and/or defective workmanship performed by fabricators and installers outside of VITL’s official network. VITL highly recommends contacting your area distributor(s) to access more information about VITL’s Network of Certified Fabricators and Installers.
• This warranty is usable to surfaces which have been maintained according to the VITL Quartz Care & Maintenance guidance. Any damage caused by product mishandling, incorrect care and maintenance, impact harm, heat damage, physical and chemical abuse, and any other harm resulting from exposing the product to extreme weather conditions will not absolutely be covered. • Chips, scratches, color changes, thermal shock, mishandled or incorrect/defective fabrication is not covered. VITL Quartz material is highly resistant, however no cutting must be done directly on the surface. Cutting boards should be always used.
• This warranty does not cover any modification or additional works, including plumbing, structural alteration, electrical, cabinets, furniture, tiles or any other that should be required to complete the repair or replacement of VITL Quartz material covered under this certificate. These items, material or labor costs are in charge of the owner of the commercial property.
• This warranty does not cover finishes that have been altered from their original VITL Quartz factory-applied finish. Any issues arising from the practice of additional and/or in shop “honing”, dyeing, direct “resin” polishing, or other such work performed by the processor and/or the owner who purchased the original VITL Quartz surfaces.
• Any creative adjustment applied to the surface, including bending, curving, thickness reduction, or any other change needs to preserve the VITL Quartz material.
• This warranty does not cover natural alterations in the color, tone, and pattern movement of the slabs due to its natural quartz components inherent in the quartz stone.
• Shade variation from samples are not covered under warranty. It may happen that color samples provided to customers, fabricators or installers may not match to the actual stone. VITL Quartz slabs are made of natural quartz. Therefore, any fluctuation in color, shade, pattern is expected of this natural outcome. The samples have been cut into small pieces from a slab, they do not perform all the particularities of the entire actual slab.
• This warranty does not cover VITL Quartz material exposed to outdoor areas, weather and climate conditions, irregular use or conditions, abuse or damage in any way, including damage from mishandling or misapplication, damage from excessive heat or exposure to weather conditions, exposure to ultraviolet light, physical or chemical abuse or harm from improper care and maintenance among others. It is mandatory not to use products such SOS, oven cleaners, bleach, silver cleaners, ammonia or any other that is likely to damage the surface – like abrasive or harsh scrubbing pads. Do not attempt to seal the product. Also consider: it is not acceptable the use of paint removers, strong alkaline, acid or oxidizing substances such as products containing pumice.
• Flooring applications are not covered.
• This warranty does not cover seam appearance and seam performance. Seam performance can fail with shifting or movement of the substrate, foundation and cabinets, or from thermal shock. Thermal shock may occur from exposing the surface to excessive heat. Lamps, crock pots, griddles, electric frying pans and similar items can transfer heat to the surface and cause excessive heat.
• VITL’s unique responsibility and liability under this warranty will be to replace the failed VITL Quartz product in slab form. VITL is not liable for any loss of direct or indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or any other similar damages coming from the use or inability to use the material in commercial applications covered by this warranty. Including, but not limited to, Loss of use, Loss of profits, business interruption, and/or any other losses.
• VITL is not responsible for damages or injury caused by acts of God, job site conditions, architectural and engineering alterations, structural movement, acts of vandalism, and accidents that occurred at job sites that may cause damage to the material.
• This warranty is only valid if product has been paid completely.
• In case of product manufacturing defects, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed. If somehow the color is discontinued, client needs to select one in a relative color.
• In order to obtain services under this Commercial Warranty, the owner/customer must provide proof of purchase in the form of project contract showing the name of the owner of the commercial property. Without the proof of original contract, this document will not be applicable.
• All decision regarding this warranty are to be made by VITL or an authorized representative. No distributor, fabricator, installer or any person from VITL or outside VITL is authorized to make any warranty statements and promises regarding VITL Quartz surfacing material.

This is the only warranty offered by VITL. No other warranty, document, representation or promise made by any other party shall be binding for VITL regarding VITL Quartz products or the material usage and application.
